Casa
Juez is a building of traditional architecture of Aragon’s Pyrenees,
built with stone and local wood beams (mainly oak and juniper). Is covered
by a roof of irregular tiles.
The
house was completely abandoned since the 60’s and until 1999, when the
reconstruction began. There were many fallen walls and missing materials.
It
has, among others, a “soton altoaragones” which is a chimney room
surrounded by a long bench, and some vaulted rooms. The restoration works
respected the original materials and is used nowadays as rural lodging.
